Maverick Times

Maverick Times is a celebration of my life and times ...... well someones got to ! Most of it's about drink and sport, my two main enjoyments these days. I'm a life member of CAMRA, and a member of the West Riding Branch of The Society for the Preservation of Beers from the Wood (commonly known as SPBW). I've been a supporter of Queens Park Rangers since 1981 and Leeds Rhinos rugby league since I moved to Leeds in January 2001. This Season I'm getting my first season ticket to Leeds United, it's no longer practicable to get one for QPR and a season ticket will enable me to get tickets for away games at grounds I haven't been to for years (the last time I went to Old Trafford I paid £1 to stand on the Stretford End). This causes me my next proiblem - all of QPR's northern games clash with Leeds home games !
